Braves Senior Hockey

The Braves Hockey organization has been part of the community for longer than most can remember.

The Big River Braves are a senior hockey team playing men's contact hockey, and sanctioned under the Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA). Currently the Braves play in the Beaver Lakes Hockey League.

The Braves Hockey Team has helped over the years with special community projects such as the recreation facility. The local historian for the Braves is Richard Burt, who has been involved with the organization for 50 years.
